I’ve meaning meaning to share this story with you for over a year. Last week was such a heavy week for so many including me that I thought this is now the right time to share. It has to do with telling the truth to yourself about how you feel. One of my good friends and I met this phenomenal woman named Cindy. Cindy was actually hosting an event in Minneapolis and Iyanla Vanzant would be the keynote speaker. I’ve loved Iyanla and her message for a while so I immediately wanted to look at the price of plane tickets
It’s been a while since I posted a video…life has been fast paced and filled with change, so I’ve been finding my balance. I’m so happy to be able to reach out to you again.
I was wondering…
Do you ever find yourself contemplating why certain things have unfolded in your life the way they have? Or do you ever tend to remember a dream that may be in your past or still current and wonder why it hasn’t happened for you yet? Or maybe you’re in a place in life where you’re not seeing the light at the end
Do you ever find yourself saying things out loud (either to yourself, your child, or your spouse) that were said in your childhood like a specific saying or phrase? It could be a phrase that tends to be your first thought in either a stressful situation or a happy one…
In this weeks episode of REID-TV I share what I learned from the phrase I used to hear from my mother very frequently growing up and how you too can identify what you might have learned and why. It also may give you some insight for the phrases and sayings you
Wishing you a wonderful week so far!
One of the juicy topics that came up with two of my clients this week was about letting go of other people’s behavior and choices; and choosing to see it as a reflection of where they are in their life–instead of something directly to do with you. This shows up in relationships where two people may have completely different love languages (ways they like to be loved) and if there isn’t clarity on how each person feels loved, then one or both people may end up feeling unloved somehow, or disappointed and upset. They
I’m so honored to share an experience that has been so joyful and close to my heart. I’ve had the opportunity to be one of 20 Co-authors in the best selling book 20 Beautiful Women Vol. 3.
that was released last month (January). What has been amazing is that 20 multi cultural beauties have come together for this special project. The most meaningful part of this experience is the connections that I’ve made with these special women and learning about them as each one has spilled their hearts out on paper about extremely vulnerable times in their lives that they were able to
Happy New Year to YOU beautiful soul! I hope your holiday’s were as great as could be.
There are BIG things taking place right now. MANY people I know and love including myself are going through big time life changes, a major transition, or being asked to look at their life in a way that they haven’t before. Is this happening for you on any level?
My big changes have been moving my home unexpectedly at the same time as I moved into a new office. It’s been a major gift and at the same time it came with challenges that
Losing a loved one is devastating. I want you to know that I hear you. Whether it is an unexpected/expected loss of a love one passing away, a break up, or a major transition or change, it is absolutely understandable that grief will be present. We may have a grief process over something that maybe judged as small scale, but it still feels like a loss. What’s important to know about this is that it is ALL ok and needed. Most of all- when we let the grief flow it actually takes us somewhere… Then the healing and magic
One thing that I’m constantly working on and evolving is my self care. It has many different forms as far as how I meet my emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual needs. It truly is a balancing practice. and I know what signals to look for within myself that let me know what I need and when.
The biggest thing I want to share with you today is that YOU need your time just as much as everyone else does. If you find yourself putting yourself on the back burner either inadvertently or consciously the below video is for you! Especially if
Sometimes life gets tough, heavy, and unexpected things happen. Things maybe we thought would never happen like a break up, loss of a job, or a death. A hard truth for me was learning that although I have people I love, people I even wish would stay forever in my life… but they might not stay forever. But the one thing I do have is me. I’ve made a commitment to always be here for me no matter who chooses to stay or go. Maybe you can relate, or are currently struggling with wanting people who
