Have you gone through times in your life that have felt more “internal” where maybe you didn’t feel social and mostly wanted to be alone? Or where no matter how hard you try to work on something important to you, it just feels hard for some reason, even to get a small amount accomplished? I definitely have felt this way numerous times. What I’ve found is that this experience has a few contributing factors:
#1- There may be some emotions or beliefs that need clearing in order for you to feel the clarity that’s needed to motivate taking action.
#2- It might not be the right time.
#3- There is resistance to taking action and therefore possible resistance to growth and change, because on some level it feels scary venturing into the unknown.
Do you any of these ring a bell? The bottom line is that in order to get what we want, we need to take action (on some level) in whatever area of our lives we are working on. And yet sometimes it’s not that simple in our minds and hearts. Check out this week’s video on why taking action is SO important and what we need to do to get there.
