I recently had a client (male in his mid thirties) say that he feels he hasn’t really “lived” yet. I asked him, “how would your life need to look or be in order for you to feel you are truly living?” He said he didn’t know. I felt sad for him in that moment. I asked his permission to share this story with you because it’s one I believe many can relate to. This particular man grew up full of dreams, but unfortunately as the responsibilites of life weighed on him, he lost his connection to his heart, and his passion for things he loved became clouded.
What are some things you have loved in your life? Experiences, places, activities, people, etc.? Could there be any parts of you tucked away because you just don’t have time, or are too busy to acknowledge? Or worst of all, just feeling like its not possible or never going to happen…
