Winter time gives us the opportunity to get down to the “bare bones” so to speak with ourselves and our lives-this means finding emotional balance. It’s such a prime time for reflection as this year comes to a close. I invite you to give yourself this time for reflection. What part of your life really worked for you this year? What things or aspects didn’t feel good? These are the questions that truly result in emotional balance.
When you are overcoming depression or anything else, life has the potential to constantly shift and change because you are shifting internally. I went through a period of time this year where I was feeling overwhelmed with my schedule and it resulted in me running on the edge of late or just late. I’ve tended to be not necessarily early but just on time. So running late created frustration for me. I had to get to the bottom of it within myself and I’m so thankful that period of time has passed and I’m no longer dealing with overwhelm! I am always early. No special planning as it has been that way for me all my life. I know things can come up for people that can make them late. I just think it is disrespectful to be late & that all of our time is valuable & it should be honored accordingly. If I have to get somewhere with a mate then I have said it started earlier then it did so we would be on time & then I don’t have to be anxious.
